Five Things to Bring Into Your Getting Ready Room
Your wedding day can be stressful. People are running around the getting ready room, stuff is strewn about everywhere, and you don't know which glass of champagne is yours. Just remember to take a deep breath and take in every moment. Because of the Custom Timeline that we created together, there will be enough time to get every photo you could possibly want! So sit back, relax, and sip on that champagne.
Before your wedding day, one trick that will help make the day go by smoothly is to gather all of your details and keep them in a bag or box together. Of course you should make sure you have your dress, veil, shoes, and bridal bag, but here are some other important details that you should bring into your getting ready room to have photographed.
1. Invitation Suite
Your invitation suite includes: wedding invitation & matching envelope (sometimes addressed in calligraphy to your own address), reception card, reply card with matching envelope, directions, accommodations/details. You can also include vintage stamps for an extra touch!
2. Jewelry
All three rings: engagement and both wedding bands, necklace, earrings, bracelets, or any other jewelry you will be wearing as you walk down the aisl!
3. Bridal Bouquet
Because you have spent hours picking out every detail, it is important to make sure that everything is documented! In addition to the bridal bouquet, you can also ask your florist to provide some loose florals for detail shots.
4. Perfume bottle
You will always want to remember the special scent your wore on your wedding day. So go ahead, splurge and buy that bottle that you have been dreaming about!
5. Special details
Any other special details that you want photographed should also be included. This could be your great grandmothers handkerchief, a bible, or your "something blue". You can also include your grooms details (shoes, socks, bow tie, belt, boutonniere), but if your groom wants to hold onto those, that is okay too. I can always shoot his details a little later.
