Tidbit Tuesday #1: All About Florals
Happy Tuesday friends! Today I am going to be talking all about florals. It is important to find a florist you like because not only will your bridal bouquet be in most of your portrait photos, but they will also be in a lot of your detail shots! (I recommend splurging a little on your bouquet and hair & makeup since they will be in most of your photos).
When talking with your florist, it is important to ask for them to set aside some loose florals for detail shots. They add an extra touch and more dimension to the detail photos!
Below are the type of florals you can consider having on your big day:
Personal Flowers
The brides and bridesmaids will obviously have bouquets, but there are others who will potentially need personal flowers, as well. Here are some to consider:
Bridal bouquet
Bride's floral crown or hair flowers
Bridesmaids' bouquets
Groom's boutonniere
Groomsmen's boutonniere
Mother of the bride's corsage
Mother of the groom's corsage
Father of the bride's boutonniere
Father of the groom's boutonniere
Grandmothers' corsages
Grandfathers' boutonnieres
Tossing bouquet (so you don't have to throw the bridal bouquet during the bouquet toss)
Flower girl's basket of petals and/or floral crown
Ring bearer's boutonnieres
Officiant's boutonniere
Ushers' boutonnieres
Ceremony Flowers
Possible florals at the ceremony:
