Our Anniversary

I am skipping Tidbit Tuesday this week to write about something close to my heart instead, because today is my anniversary. Two years ago I met the most amazing man. Two years may not seem like very long, but to us, it has felt like we have known each other forever.

From the moment we met, we couldn’t stay away from each other. And nothing has changed. Bill is truly my best friend and the only person I want to spend every second of my day with. He is funny, kind, and the most selfless human I have ever met.

With every relationship, I have learned something new. My relationships leading up to this one have taught me what I love and don't love about people, what qualities a person has that I cannot live without, and even what qualities I don't necessarily like but can live with (because not everyone is perfect). Today I am thankful for all of my previous heartbreaks because they all lead up to the moment I met this wonderful man who is more than anything I could have ever imagined and more. The man who has all of the qualities I can't live without, and has shown me he has more qualities that I didn't even know I needed.

So happy anniversary to the man who disposes of bugs, who makes the same (slightly) corny jokes that make me laugh every.single.time, who let’s me be in charge of the remote (for the most part), and who takes me on wonderful adventures ❤️
